Climate Politics: 10 years after the Paris Agreement
The Paris Agreement was adopted by 195 Parties at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, France, on 12 December 2015.
Its overarching goal is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and pursue efforts “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.”
In light of the upcoming 10th anniversary of the historic adoption and the approaching COP 30, we are organizing a discussion to assess where we are now, and what hope there is for the future.
Organised by Christina Eckes, Ingo Venzke and Margaretha Wewerinke-Singh.
